Description
La Rejoya waterfall is located in the community of Juan de Nina, province of Puerto Plata, north of the Dominican Republic.
It is a very pretty waterfall quite difficult to access, you have to climb a fairly steep and slippery hill before arriving at the river where there are several waterfalls. It takes about 45 minutes to walk. Once there, the show is extraordinary, the exuberant nature and the river is crystal clear and pollution-free.
To do the La Rejoya waterfall excursion you must be well equipped with good shoes and water, it is strongly recommended to be accompanied by a local guide who knows the trail.
