Piedras Vivas Park is located in downtown San Cristobal
, it is a park that has a history linked to the former dictator Trujillo.
It was built in the 1940s in honor of the dictator, it was in San Cristobal that his official home was located. It was built with stones from all parts of the Dominican Republic, hence its name Piedras Vivas (living stones).
