Description
Salto de Yanigua is a beautiful waterfall that then flows into a large natural pool in the province of Hato Mayor.
It is one of the main tourist attractions in the region, many Dominicans come to enjoy nature and a refreshing bath as well as tourists of all nationalities who come from the tourist centers of Punta Cana/Bavaro/Cap Cana, Bayahibe and Santo Domingo. On site there is a ranch which offers different excursions and activities, there is a small restaurant with a bar.
Salto de Yanigua is located on the river of the same name which then flows into the Yabon River to end in Samana Bay.
It is a great place to spend a day with family and friends and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Salto de Yanigua is located about 6.21 miles from the community of El Valle in the province of Hato Mayor, between Hato Mayor and Sabana de la Mar
The path to access it is not in very good condition, the entrance to the waterfall is RD$ 100.
