Description
The Redonda and Limon lagoons are a nature reserve to protect the endemic plant and animal species present in these 2 lagoons in the northeast of the Dominican Republic in the province of El Seibo.

The reserve is home to many species of birds, fish, crabs, molluscs, crustaceans, shrimps, clams... mangroves, mangroves, plants, flowers, coconut palms... a whole unique ecosystem that must be protected. The diversity of flora and fauna make it a unique place for nature lovers.
Redonda Lagoon is brackish water while Limon Lagoon is fresh water. The two lagoons are separated by several kilometers, between the two there is the beautiful and large beach of El Limon.
