Description
La Plaza is an incredible place with crystal clear water in the middle of nature close to Barahona, in La Cienaga, in the southwest of the Dominican Republic. The place to bathe is hidden in a small canyon which lets the sun pierce through when it is at its zenith.
It is strongly recommended to use the local guide service to get there, excursion agencies in the region of Barahona offer this nature excursion. it takes about 2 hours by 4x4 to get to Balneario La Plaza but it's worth it because once there you will feel like in paradise surrounded by unspoiled nature.
