Description
Balneario El Salto is located just 300 meters from the city center of Loma de Cabrera (province of Dajabon), in the north-west of the Dominican Republic.
The waterfall is located on the Masacre River (also called the Dajabon River) which originates a few kilometers upstream and then flows into Manzanillo Bay.
balneario El Salto is a pretty little waterfall with a pool for swimming. The water is cool. The basin is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. The place is very frequented by the inhabitants of Loma de Cabrera and the surrounding area who come there with family and friends, mainly on weekends and public holidays. Few tourists come here.
