Arena Gorda Beach - Punta Cana
Arena Gorda Beach is located on the east coast of the Dominican Republic, in Punta Cana. It is part of the paradisiac beaches of Punta Cana. It is a wide and long beach that is lined with coconut palms with a turquoise sea and warm waters with a fine white sand.

Iberostar and Grand Bahia Principe Bavaro have been awarded the Blue Flag for their facilities and water quality. It also has disabled access.
It is located north of Punta Cana Bavaro, after the beaches of Cabeza de Toro and El Cortecito and before those of Macao and Uvero Alto.

Arena Gorda Beach is a private beach reserved for guests of all inclusive Puna Cana hotels. Nearby are the other beaches of Punta Cana, El Cortecito, Cabeza de Toro, Bavaro .. This beach is located due east, depending on the season and the strength of the trade winds, it can be quite windy.
Along this beach there are only all-inclusive complexes and a few restaurantslike the KUKUA Restaurant Beach Club, the El Pescador restaurant and bars like the Sands Beach, Arrecife Beach Bar, Le Siboney...
Hotel guests can practice various activities and water sports such as kayaking, paddle, snorkel, kitesurf, windsurf...
The beach is supervised by lifeguards, the supervised areas are delimited by buoys, children and people who do not know how to swim properly are advised to bathe in the supervised areas.

It is located north of Punta Cana about 7 km from Fruisa, 10 from El Cortecito, about 20 from Bavaro Beach and about 25 from the airport. It is easily accessible by the new Higuey - Miches motorway.
