The beaches of the province of Hato Mayor
The province of Hato Mayor does not have many beaches, the main tourist attraction in this region is the Los Haitises National Park which attracts many local and foreign tourists.
The province of Hato Mayor is located in the northeast of the Dominican Republic, it borders the bay of Samana to the south with about kilometers of coastline.
It is an essentially agricultural province. There are few hotels and few beaches in this region, which explains why international tourism is not developed despite a good potential for ecotourism. The main attraction is Los Haitises Park which is visited by hundreds of local and foreign tourists.
In this province there are many ranches in which the inhabitants of the region and of Santo Domingo come to have fun and enjoy nature.

- Playa de Muerto Capitan.
- Sabana de la Mar.
- Punta Arena accessible only by boat at the tip of San Lorenzo Bay.
- Playa Cueva De La Arena in the national park accessible only by boat.
