Buen Hombre beach province of Monte Cristi

Playa Buen Hombre is located between Punta Rucia and Monte Cristi, in Villa Vasquez, a small coastal town which benefits from the tourist development of the nearby beach. The beach is quite isolated, Puerto Plata is 3 hours away, so the beach is only frequented by locals and kitesurfing enthusiasts.

Buen Hombre is located in a small bay, so the sea is often calm. To the north of this bay there is a point which is often quite windy, the beach is frequented by kitesurfers, kitesurfing schools have recently opened and offer courses with packages (accommodation, meals, kite lessons).

It's a real gem, with lots of wind and some shade. It is a cozy place, the view of the coast is very beautiful, ideal for spending a day, taking photos and getting to know a new place in the Dominican Republic that is protected from mass tourism.

The beach is located in the province of Monte Cristi in the northwest of the Dominican Republic, between the provinces of Puerto Plata and Valverde (to the East), Haiti (to the West) and Dajabon, Santiago Rodriguez to the south.
To the north is the Atlantic Ocean.
