The beach of Juan Dolio - Dominican Republic
Juan Dolio beach is located on the Caribbean coast about 50 Kms from the capital Santo Domingo.
It is a seaside resort quite quiet, the sea is often quiet because it is on the Caribbean coast and protected by the barrier reef.
A fairly quiet family beach in the Caribbean Sea
The public beach of Juan Dolio is just at the entrance of the village. You will find small restaurants and bars with sun loungers and umbrellas to spend pleasant moments at the water's edge.
The beach of Juan Dolio is quite quiet on weekdays, weekends and holidays it is the favorite beach (with the beach of Boca Chica and Guayacanes) of the inhabitants of Santo Domingo
and surroundings.
Continuing the small road that runs along the coast, there are many private villas that have direct access to the beach, and some all-inclusive hotels like the Coral Costa Caribe.
The recent "tourist" part is located on both sides of the Boulevard where hotels, restaurants (Octopus Bay, El Sueno, Sal Marina, El Rincon del Cacique...), bars (El Bambú, Kashamba Cafe Bar, Roxie's Bar Grill en Plaza Real, Don Pedro, Club De Playa Guavaberry...) and private residences are located.

Juan Dolio beach is easy to access, both from Santo Domingo and from San Pedro De Macoris. 50 km from the capital of the Dominican Republic and 65 from La Romana.
