Playa Matanzas is located in the province of Peravia, between Las Salinas and Bani, on the shores of the Caribbean Sea.
A small gray sand beach
Matanzas beach is a small gray sand beach located on the edge of the Caribbean Sea, 12 kilometers after Bani, Peravia province, southwest of Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic.
The beach is small with a nice view but not very suitable for swimming. It is not maintained, the beach is often full of garbage of all kinds brought by the sea.
The beach is not frequented, except by the inhabitants of the region and the fishermen. Please note that there are no services nearby.
