Playa Rincon Beach - Samana

Playa Rincon is a haven of beauty and freshness not to be missed when you are on vacation in a hotel in Samana.

This is one of the main tourist attractions for travelers visiting the Samana Peninsula.

It is located at a distance of about 25 km from the port of Samana. This spectacular and hidden Caribbean beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic and has been listed as one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world by the prestigious Condé Nast Traveler magazine.

Its white sand stretches for about four kilometers. Far from any complexes or hotels, there are some restaurants and bars that are scattered around the beach. In these restaurants, you can eat fish, shrimp and fresh lobster at very affordable prices, which are usually prepared on the grill in a stove or fireplace, traditional peasant Dominican style cooking.

How to go on this beautiful beach of Las Galeras

One of the best ways to go to Playa Rincon is to rent a 4x4 or a quad to cross the rough roads leading to this piece of tropical paradise. Another way to get there is to rent a boat, which you can easily get in the fishing village of Las Galeras , located at the end of Samana Bay. The trip from the Galeras to Playa Rincon is a spectacle in itself and provides enough material across the coastal path for superb photos.
The beaches are ideal for water sports such as sailing and windsurfing. Its surrounding forests allow walks and relaxation. The more adventurous can explore the nearby cliffs and enjoy the majestic scenery, as the beach is surrounded by 600-meter cliffs that form the Cabo Cabron and rows of palm trees stretching over white-sand beaches and turquoise waters.
