Rogelio beach is a gray sand beach located in the province of Espaillat, in Villa Magante, between Gaspar Hernandez and Rio San Juan, on the north coast of the Dominican Republic.
With the black sand the water looks dirty, but in reality the water is clean, it is only the sand that mixes with the water that gives this impression.

The beach is large which makes it an excellent beach for walking.
There are several small shops selling food and drinks. They have small cabins and rent sun loungers on the shore to enjoy a moment of relaxation by the sea.

Access to Rogelio beach is not very easy because the road that connects the beach with the main road is unpaved with holes.
Like many beaches in the Dominican Republic, it is frequented on weekends and holidays by the inhabitants of the region who come to enjoy a good bath in the sea.
Please note that there are no public toilets.

Playa Rogelio is one of the beaches to visit during a vacation in Rio San Juan and in the north of the Dominican Republic. The Gri Gri Lagoon is nearby, as well as other beautiful beaches such as Playa Grande, Playa Preciosa, Los Minos beach, Los Muertos...
