Camping
The Dominican Republic has a few places to camp and fully enjoy nature. There are no large campsites, like in other countries, with hundreds of tents, caravans, mobile homes, swimming pools, shops...
In the Dominican Republic there are only small campsites located by the sea or in the mountains.
Camping allows you to discover extraordinary places, far from the city and the noise.
“Wild” camping is authorized on certain beaches (the beaches of the Dominican Republic are public) but you still need to find out beforehand. And very important: leave the place clean, take away the trash.
