Loma de Cabrera - Dominican Republic
Loma de Cabrera
is a city in the province of Dajabon,
in the northwest of the Dominican Republic, on
the border with Haiti. It was founded as a municipality in 1939.
Historically, Loma de Cabrera is part of what was the cacique of
Marien, one of the four territorial divisions of the island of Santo
Domingo at the time of its discovery.
The economy of Loma de Cabrera is based on agricultural production.

Loma de Cabrera, being located in the lower parts
of the Cordillera Central, ecotourism has great
potential because it has several rivers and balnearios a lush beauty.
A few meters from the town there is the Salto, depending on the
Massacre River, which is visited by local and foreign tourists throughout
the year. Other spas are Baden, Puente, Chargo Largo and La Junta.
In addition, Cerro de Chacuey, located north of the city, has a

the river Arroyo Azul.
