Punta Rusia - Dominican Republic

Punta Rusia is a pristine natural beach which is located right next to the National Park of Monte Cristi, a coral reef 50 km long on the spectacular north coast of the Dominican Republic. The name of Punta Rusia was given to the region by Christopher Columbus when he visited the island during his second voyage to the New World.

It is located in La Isabela Bay, between Monte Cristi and Puerto Plata. Its main attraction is the low number of small hotels, but with all the amenities for a pleasant stay with magnificent natural conditions. The beach is quiet, and you can enjoy a swim in the shallow, warm and golden sea.
