Cabanas Turisticas Montebello is located between Santa Cruz de Mao and Esperanza (Km 5 1/2) in the province of Valverde in the north-west of the Dominican Republic, about 31 miles (50 km) from Santiago de los Caballeros, the second city of the country, and 53 (85 km) from Puerto Plata, the third largest city.
