Description of Eco Del Mar

Eco Del Mar offers a unique concept in the Dominican Republic, sleeping in tents at the seaside, on the beach of La Cueva (Cave) at the edge of the Caribbean Sea, in Pedernales, in the extreme south-west of the Dominican Republic, bordering the Jaragua National Park.

The campsite/hotel has a restaurant, a bar and offers excursions throughout the region and of course the most popular excursion is in Bahia de las Aguilas (the bay of the eagles), in the Jaragua National Park, one of the most beautiful bay in the world.

Eco Del Mar offers excursions by boat (Beata island and Alto Velo island), car (4x4) and plane, Cabo Rojo airport is 3 miles away. Do snorkel, paddle and sport fishing.

It is a Natural Lodge with accommodation in comfortable tents at the seaside and in wooden suites, equipped with beds, sheets and pillows. At guests' disposal there are shared bathrooms and showers. The establishment can accommodate up to 50 people.

It is advisable to bring a flashlight, beach towels and bath towels, soap, shampoo, toothpaste ...
