Rancho Tipico Cueva de las Aguilas is a camping & restaurant that is located on the beach of Cabo Rojo in Pedernales, in the extreme south-west of the Dominican Republic, about 151 miles (244 kms) away from Santo Domingo and 38.5 miles (62 kms) from Barahona.

The site is exceptional to enjoy the nature, the beach and the sea.

The accommodation is rustic and simple but it is a different way to discover this beautiful place that will delight nature lovers. The campsite has shared toilets and showers, a bar, a restaurant. Each camping tent has a small terrace with two armchairs to admire the sea and the sunset.

Rancho Tipico Cueva de las Aguilas organizes excursions to Bahia de las Aguilas as well as all the province of Pedernales (Jaragua National Park, Laguna de Oviedo...)

This is one of the few places where you can camp in the Dominican Republic.

The province has beautiful beaches and fantastic excursions. Lovers of nature and ecotourism will find their happiness.

The EcoLodge Cueva De Las Aguilas restaurant is located in front of the sea, and offers delicious Dominican dishes, mainly made with fish and seafood that are freshly caught by the fishermen of Pedernales.
