The Genesis hotel is a small family hotel located in the small town of Santa Cruz del Seibo, in the east of the Dominican Republic.

The establishment offers simple and comfortable rooms with the minimum to spend one or two nights in this small town.

El Seibo is a farming town, tourism is almost nonexistent except in the north of the province in Miches where there are fantastic beaches. It is located between Hato Mayor and Higuey and La Romana to the south.

It is good, the staff is very attentive, good security, as in few hotels in the city, for me it is excellent.

One of the best hotel on the city. Very safety! I will come back again! The staffs were very kind.

This hotel was horrible. There were no toilet seats, no hot water, and the staff regularly stole items from the rooms. The rooms felt very unsafe and we were only given a sheet( top and bottom, one towel and one lumpy pillow.
DO NOT STAY HERE!! It was a scary, uncomfortable place. It was dirty and on the last day the toilets and showers flooded with raw sewage.
