Miches
is a city on the south shore of Samana Bay
, facing the Atlantic Ocean, in the province of El
Seibo. This is a mountainous region with beautiful white sand
beaches, subtropical rainforests, dominated by winds from the northeast.
The economy is based on agricultural production with coconut plantations
and pastures, rice, cocoa and fruits and good fishing.
Miches is an excellent choice for adventure tourism
and ecotourism, with its natural resources such
as Laguna Limon (fresh water) and Laguna Redonda (salt water) that
