The India Canela residence is located in calle Duarte in Las Terrenas, Samana Peninsula, in the northeast of the Dominican Republic. The property is at the entrance of the village, close to the bus stop (parada) for Santo Domingo.

The residence has a swimming pool, a tropical garden, a parking lot. There are relatively inexpensive apartments with one or two air-conditioned bedrooms, a living room with TV, wifi, a kitchen, a bathroom with shower and a terrace with a view of the garden and the swimming pool.

Close to India Canela there are restaurants, shops, bars, supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, car rental companies, tour agencies... The fishing village is 5 minutes away as well as the beach. Punta Popy is 10 minutes away and Las Ballenas is 15.

Las Terrenas has grown considerably in recent years, no doubt thanks to the construction of the highway that has put the capital of the Dominican Republic just 2 hours from Las Terrenas.

Horrible experience!!!! The truth is that very disappointing. We stayed in VILLA 15. It is not a villa, it is a miniature cabin where there is only one room (ceiling fan whose motor makes a noise but the blades hardly move), an air conditioner in the only room that has to be turned off every hour (according to written information from the villa) has no control and also a sign that says "turn off every 1 hour".
