Las Galeras is a beautiful little fishing village located about 25 km from the town of Samana, in the northeast of the Dominican Republic, in the province of Samana. It is a paradise of pristine natural beauty intact.
In recent years, this small town has been significant growth with new hotels and restaurants, but since the Las Galeras is not exactly one of the most accessible places of Samana, it allowed him to maintain the relaxed atmosphere and charm of Caribbean village. Rincon beach

Playa Rincon is a beautiful beach lined with coconut, which was ranked among the finest in the world. This beach is accessed by boat from the village or by a path (4x4 highly recommended). On this beach there is a small hotel restaurant: Rincon Rubi. At the end of the beach a small river of fresh water flows into the Caribbean Sea.

Playa Fronton

Playa Fronton is a wild and beautiful deserted beach located about 25 minutes by boat from Las Galeras and also within walking distance. It lies at the foot of a cliff several ten feet high. Arriving by boat, the sight of this little paradise beach at the foot of the great cliff of extraordinary beauty. Playa Fronton is a paradise for diving and snorkeling.

Boca del diablo (devil's mouth)

Boca del Diablo is about fifteen kilometers from the village, access is via a path that requires a suitable vehicle (4x4 or motorcycle or four wheel).
