Hostal Don Juan (Casa Amarilla) is located in the Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo, two blocks from the Spanish Steps where there are some of the best restaurants in the area. The colonial zone is the oldest part of the capital of the Dominican Republic where there are historical monuments dating from the time of the conquistadors (Alcazar de Colon, Ozama Fortress, Columbus Lighthouse, cathedral Santa Maria...), museums but also bars, restaurants, shops, art galleries... It is one of the liveliest neighborhoods.
