Bayahibe is a small village after La Romana, on the Caribbean coast of the Dominican Republic. This is a small
village converted in tourism whose main attraction is the excursion to Saona Island. It is also one of the entrances to the Cotubanama National Park.
Dominicus, about 5 kms from the village, is the tourist area where are located a few all-inclusive hotels, residences and villas. Dominicus is a small new town mainly inhabited by foreigners (many Italians) who come on vacation or who live all year or part of the year in the Dominican Republic.
Bayahibe is a fairly quiet small town with beautiful beaches by the Caribbean Sea. The village continues to develop with the construction of many residences, villas... in the part called Bayahibe Nueva located at the entrance of the village.
