Sanchez is a small town located in the north-east of the Dominican Republic, at the beginning of the Samana Peninsula, at 40 minutes from Santa Barbara de Samana (the capital of the province) and 150 kms from the city of Santo Domingo.

From Sanchez it is possible to go to Cayo Levantado, an island of just 1 square kilometer with charm and unique beauty, to go to El Limon Waterfall, Playa Rincon and Playa Fronton in Las Galeras... many excursions and visits are accessible from this small town in the north of the Dominican Republic.

This is not a tourist town, there is little hotel in Sanchez.
